All of the sign up are being moved to the online format so we can keep track of what we need.  We will also be needing food for the sweetheart banquet which will be the first of February, I will post that later.  In the parent/teen meeting we will go over the next 4 months including the bible bowl trips and fundraisers, the teachers for the spring semester and the mother/daughter retreat.  It will be an informative meeting, and we will try to do it twice.  After the 2nd and 3rd services in the high school worship room at the Activity center.  Hope you can make it.

Youth Worship
Tonight is youth worship!  Nate will be leading the worship time and Miles and Luke will be presenting a lesson.  I know school starts back up for LCPS on Wednesday and MVCS on Tuesday.  We will have a meal at 6 p.m. provided by the Squires and we will start worship at 7 p.m. I want to encourage you to start the year off right!  I will be at a youth ministers’ conference, but I know you will enjoy the time with Nate.

New Classes
Our new classes will start on Wednesday, January 14.  Jake Jaramillo will be teaching the high school class on apologetics for about 4-6 weeks and then Joel Newton will teach on the reliability of the Bible and then Tristan Franzoy will teach on discipleship.  I will be teaching the middle school class.  I am really excited about this semester, I hope you will be too!

Winterfest
We leave for Winterfest on January 23-25.  I have 21 people registered for the trip.  It is  mainly the bible bowl participants.  However, if you are interested in going you can register on line as well at https://www.winterfest.org/wfwowregistration-for-2025  the cost is $45 and we have an Airbnb for everyone so you might have to bring a sleeping bag.  The actual cost will be your meals to and from Flagstaff.  It will be a great weekend.  Do not forget the Bible Bowl competition is on Joshua 1-11, 24 and chapter placement.  We will have awards before the evening ceremony.  We will return late Sunday night.  If you want to go, please let me know!  Winterfest is taking the place of Fabulous 13 and the Chile bowl so I hope you will take advantage of it.

Bible Bowl
We will have Bible Bowl this Sunday, January 11th from 2-3:30 p.m. The Bible Bowl Lock-in starting on Sunday, January 18-19 before our trip to Flagstaff.  You will need to be there at 5 p.m. and we will be there through midnight.  You are welcome to spend the night at the building, but you will have to leave by the morning.  If you are in Bible Bowl, please bring snacks to share with others.

Parents Page
Parent meeting today after 2nd and 3rd worship.  I do not mind sharing information twice.  We do have links that you can check out above, but we will have extra sign-up sheets for extraordinary events and helping with the banquet the first of February.  If you can make the meeting, please check out the links above.  We have a new sign-up sheet to just hang out with the teens during Youth group time on Wednesday.  I need more eyes helping keep track of the teens after they eat.  They spread out at the building so I cannot keep up with everyone.  If you are able to help on a Wednesday night, please do sign up.  Thanks for your support!  God Bless, David
