The Grand Tetons A large group of us will be leaving Sunday, July 13, to travel to the Grand Teton Crest trail. This is a little over thirty miles and is a very strenuous hike. I am excited about taking this trip, it will be my sixth time to do the crest trail. But never with a group this large. It should be a fun week. Since I will be out of town next week, we will not have a newsletter. But I will try to keep everyone posted about upcoming events. We will return Monday July 21 or Tuesday July 22 of the following week. Being praying that we have a safe trip! Pine Springs from a Counselor's perspective: Camp this year was incredible, the worship, the sermons, the devotional, the games, and the rain were all amazing. The best part about camp was my family and having the opportunity to get to know all these amazing people. Seeing how each one of them grew and matured in just one week was a true blessing to see and a huge encouragement for me and my own faith journey. Every single person in my family had a positive experience from this year's camp and most of them said that it was by far the best camp they have had. After this amazing week getting to worship Jesus together and seeing so many people get closer to the Lord, I cannot wait for the fall retreat and to see what the Lord does there! Monday Madness This is our middle school program on Monday’s during the summer. Parents Page Busy summer but one of our best in terms of response from the teens. Encounter was awesome, camp was even better. We are having some great discussions on Tuesday evening high school bible study, and everyone is having a great summer growing closer to God. This backpacking trip has turned into a family outing, but that is a good thing. I will be trying to visit with our new families and new students coming into the youth group before school starts on July 28th. These visits will spill over into next month. A great summer and I want to thank you for your support, especially with camp, we overspent by a lot, but many have pitched in to help make up the deficit. We will be starting up our food again at the beginning of August, public school will be starting back up on July 28th and we will have a back-to-school extravaganza on July 30th I will be posting the sign-up sheets for food. Thanks for a great summer we pray for a good ending as things wrap up at the end of this month.
